Die Superhelden erobern L.A. zurück

Vor kurzem erzählte ich euch von den als Superhelden kostümierten Jungs die Hollywood einfach netter machten und ihre Misere mit der Polizei. Nunja wie ich bereits postete sind die Jungs vor Gericht gezogen und siehe da, L.A. ist wieder offen für Superman,Batman,Charlie Chaplin und wie sie alle heissen.

The four street performers who sued had argued they were wrongly arrested and intimidated by the LAPD. U.S. District Judge Dean Pregerson ruled that the characters had a First Amendment and Fourth Amendment right to remain on the public sidewalk free from police persecution as long as they were not blocking the walkway or overzealously demanding change.

“The court is further sensitive that although costumed performance may not be a traditional form of speech, it is without doubt a protected one,” Pregerson ruled.

Robin ist ganz ein böser

Yeah ein Oldschool Robin der eine Wand verschönert und damit auch gleich eine Aussage trifft. Nicht schlecht oder? Soviel ich weiss findet sich das ganze in LA, was ja passen würde da dort Kostümierte Helden nicht mehr gerne gesehen sind. Hut ab vor dem Künstler der dahinter steckt.

SuperHeroes strike Back

Hier geht es um die von der Polizei von LA verbannten Superhelden die auf dem Boulevard rumstanden. Superman und seine Freunde schlagen nun zurück.

Superman (aka Christopher Dennis from the popular documentary “Confessions of a Superhero”) posted an ad on CL to unite the costumed Superheroes that were ejected from Hollywood Boulevard on Memorial Day. They come together – both hero and villain – at the “Townhall of Injustice” to figure out how to fight city hall. Darth Vader, Superman, Charlie Chaplin all clash at the meeting, and can’t agree on anything. Later Superman attempts another costumed walk on Hollywood Blvd. and is again harassed by the police. Now he’s determined to try to get his fellow costumed characters together to finally protest in front of city hall, and take their case to the press.
